Adam Dance responds to news that Bus Services in Somerset will be saved
"I am very pleased that First Bus South and Somerset Council have together found a way to keep these important bus services running at least for the next 12 months."
A larger than life hardworking local MP that many miss to this day and many still talk about on the doorstep.
We have heard so many stories of his daring-do over the years here in Yeovil. Lots of people still remember his time at Westlands, his boundless enthusiasm and dedication to the constituency.
Some have told us how he personally helped them in times of trouble and remember his presence in and around the towns and villages of the area. Others have told us how, thanks to him, they were encouraged to stand up and join with us to demand better for our constituency.
We often wonder what his thoughts would be about today's political climate, here and abroad.
We miss him dearly and our thoughts are with Jane and Paddy's family at this time.
